Introduction: The subject of the competition is the new construction of a city apartment building. The land intended for the construction of the new townhouse is located in Za Papírnou street, parc. No. 291,292, district office Holešovice with a total area of 783m2 on the corner of Železničářů and Za Papírnou streets near the Nádraží Holešovice metro station or the Praha Holešovice train stop.
Summary: The site is located in a specific area of the Greater Holešovice Development Area.
The house should respond to the need of the district to offer urban housing to various interest groups – service apartments, apartments for people with disabilities or from socially at-risk groups. Smaller apartments should predominate, ideally in a modular solution. The ground floor is required to be active, where, in addition to the commercial part, insufficient civic amenities should also be located (at the moment, a children’s group for at least 21 children is being considered).
